Today is Diwali 2018 will be celebrated on 6th November and 7th November different parts of India. Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists — some of the world’s oldest religions — light the Diya with family and friends. We celebrate life’s blessings, the triumph of knowledge over ignorance and good over evil. But Diwali is also a time for prayer and contemplation– to reflect on our obligations to help our fellow human beings. Particularly the less fortunate. So, on this Diwali, I’ll wish everyone celebrating the holiday across India and around the world a joyous celebration. During all the five days of Dhanteras, Chhoti Diwali, Badi Diwali, Govardhan Pooja and Bhai Dooj, houses, temples and public places are all lit up with lights and earthen lamps.
